Comics

So, I am re-uploading my comics once again, however, 2 of the revisions for one of my comics will probably be uploaded here instead of on DeviantArt. That is only because a friend of mine suggested to upload only one of the revisions before putting up the final revision.

I am still working towards the final revision of this comic, I want it to be good, so it's taking me awhile longer. But eventually I will have it up.

In the mean time I am also working on a couple of digital drawings that I hope I will be posting up soon. So keep looking for my updates.

Out of Commission? Not anymore!

I do apologize for the lack of quality in some of my recent posts, however - I have been working on remedying that and will hopefully have my new works posted in a fairly short amount of time.

On that note a lot of exciting things are going on right now, so I should have a lot more work updated and I should have a better camera to take pictures of my traditional work with soon.

So, lots of things are changing. I hope that you continue to follow me and thanks so much for doing so!

"I have missed one!"

Hello everyone! So sorry for the long wait on my blogs! I thought I had updated this blog as well, but apparently not, so news!

Life after graduation is an ever going process of applications, though words from a wise graduate reverberate in my ears, and so I am currently in the process of also working on work for the 365 Animation Reel Club at The Art Institute of Las Vegas.

The 365 Animation Reel Club is a club for many majors, not just animation, including audio! In-school students and out of school students were encouraged to join to make projects for their final reel.

This being said: I am proudly a part of the 2D team and the 3D team. I will be helping make or draw concepts for the 2D side, and making models for the 3D side.

For this process we all utilize these programs:

 

For those of you that do not know, the above icons feature the Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Autodesk Maya, and Autodesk Z-brush icons.

I am utilizing Pixologic's mini free modeling program called Sculptris to model some of the models as well.

And I'm not positive if we will also be utiilizing Z-Brush for some of the modelling. But I will let you know about that at a later time.

Please know that I may feature our finalized piece(s) at a later time.

I will post some of my recent sketches onto my blogs at a later date as well, but in the mean time - thank-you all so much for checking out my website, blogs, or other media!

Current Digital Drawings that are in progress!

Alright, since I haven't written a blog in maybe a month or two here are 6 pictures of drawings I am working on, 5 I will be turning into digital drawings over the next 3 months, and one of them (the steampunk, gothica, erotica drawing), I will be leaving as a sketch for awhile, though maybe in a year or so I will make it into a digital drawing at my leisure, I just don't have all of the time in the world to work on digital drawings...So, only so many will be turned into digital drawings....And some may not even make it into the list of digital drawings...(Like my Babboon, 'cuz...I feel like he shouldn't make the list...)

Details: (6 and 22 are in progress &excluded)
Background story: A Day in the Life of Death
Death is skipping along killing people. He meets a dog. He tries to walk away from the dog, but the dog ends following him. He tries to get rid of the dog death throws one of his own bones. The dog runs after it and brings it back. Death then likes the dog and reaches down to pet it. The dog suddenly dies at Death’s touch. Death is horrified at what he’s done, but then the dog reappears as a ghost. Death is very happy about this and they both walk off into the distance.

New Stuff - Slot Machine Icons

So sorry I haven't updated in a REALLY REALLY long time, but this is what I've been doing as of late, I hope that for those of you that have been following me still continue to watch, my artwork has gotten much better, I'm updating my Blue Iris Media page, and my deviantart.

This is what I've been working on:

Slot Machine Piece Icon

King - Blue Iris Ice Dragon - story: Dragon Spirit, asexual in love and in form transforms as a male or female and enters into dreams at times of great need to spur a warrior to survive, win, or succeed, or be humble in manner; add courage in a worried wife's heart; etc.

Queen - Faerie Queen - Queen of the Faerie court (Seelie - light) - Introduces Fantasy, Illusion, Mystery, and allures all into a playground of Reality and Unreality.  But all Queens rule fairly! She returns the dreamer back to their rightful place before dawn so at night they can come back again.

Upcoming concept art for this slot machine piece:

Ghostly - Ace - Ghostly is the Ace, a spirit, an angel, the haunted jester - she brings all of those who are awake asleep trading roles with the Faerie Queen as they enter into her court, messenger to the King when sleepers are in danger, and scares, but calms all for her own individual amusement. As a ghost she is always alone longing for companions, aiding and disturbing anyone of her own accord.

Wild - The Nightmare - Free roaming and Wild, the nightmare is a haunting mystery, often horrific and terrifying. The fear that seeps into your sleep as you dream. The thing that the sleeper is currently scared of or concerned, worried about.

The Regulars - The Door, The Cloud, and The Wings that help with the sleeper's travels and provide exits and escapes on their journeys.

My apologies for not updating within a matter of days since my last post everyone!

Yesterday I was in Pre-Production Team, Computer Animation Studio, and Portfolio Prep. Today I will be in my Advanced 3D Animation Class.

So, I have been busy preparing what I've needed to for these classes and my final Demo Reel for school.

As a small update I will post some concepts I have had for my DVD Cover on my Deviant Art. Most of it right now are sketches/doodles.

4-5 Days - A Week

Hello Audience,

I won't be able to update anything for a couple of days, but everything on the site is working alright right now, so if you want to go to it you can.

That whole site is probably the newest work I have made, every page and everything on it, except for a couple of things, were made by me.

Some other things:

As soon as I can I will make new work, post stories, and work on the comics I've been planning on working on for a bit.

Some things: Some things were going wrong with the font I chose, but now that I have it straightened up these are the changes I will be making to the website that you'll see by the end of today (hopefully, since I still have to do a lot of my 2D animations):

Watermarks!

I have updated my website! I have finally placed watermarks on some of my pieces, more of my work will go up now that I have created my watermark.  However, since I'm still recreating my website logo, the water mark will continuously update, so I may not put up any new pieces for awhile until I get that updated. But at least you guys know I am working on stuff!

Btw, me and my friend Andrew Ingram will be working on a long term project, so wish us luck! It will probably involve making American style anime.

Now that I have started learning Illustrator, I am sure to get the logos done!

Many things to fix, like Xanga button, e-mail and form boxes, please wait for the changes as they are slow to come, I do have finals and commission work to work on.

By the way, I will be adding my old comics to my deviantart slowly, but  mind you-my Twin Fire/Futago no Hi comics have been discontinued, so the 3 versions I am putting up are just previews of what I will be making-granted, I really have to redo the text for the first version of the comic since it was done in pencil and some of the words have been rubbed off.

Shaky to put it up because it's MY comic...even though the first draft was done at the time I was learning how to draw manga, so...most of those drawings were practice drawings...and the looks of those characters were of characters that were already done. Thus the reason for me saying "I WAS JUST LEARNING."

Anywho-also working on the stories and stuff, AND-one part of a small tiny scene in my comic is slowly being animated-the lip sync animation I am starting TODAY in fact, as soon as I finish updating my websites...

In Class Side Composite

Instead of being unproductive in compositing class I decided to make a pixie fairy style composite.  These are the results, I want to work with it more, but I don't have time, lol.  The blue rose was a composite, so was my original photo, so there was already a handful of composite jobs within this particular composite picture.
